It is hard to believe that we left our home 10 days ago. At times it feels like it was just yesterday but then there are times it feels like we have been gone for so long and are never going to go home. We are missing America. I feel truly blessed to have the oppurtunity to live in America. It does have a different feel to it. The oppurtunities that are available to us and the freedom. I miss my boys.

Our religious beliefs have come up a few times here, people are shocked that we do not drink coffee or tea, they are always asking why. Then some ask if we are Mormon because we are from Utah. I have not had anyone say anything negative about it. I thought a lot about the perpetual education program that our church has, it is a program that lets people from poverty countries get an education, in return they go back to there countries and help it become a better place and have the chance to feed themselves and there families. I wish the gospel was in Vietnam right now, so many people could take advantage of the program and help there families.

At lunch today our waitress asked if our girls were from Vietnam after we said yes she asked from what orphanage. We told her bavi and she said that she was raised in Pho tu (sp) and is an orphan. My heart broke for her. She is a beautiful girl but it was so nice that she has a good job and is making something of herself.

We had a lazy day. Matt is feeling better but we wanted to take it easy. We are going to Ha Long bay with everyone in our group tomorrow, we are leaving at 7am and will be back at 8 pm. It will be a long day, a test to see how the girls are going to do on the airplane.
